Spectra MDF Fractional Resurfacing Treatment

Get Fractional with Your Face 2

At Northcoast, we use Alma Lasers in our Pixel Perfect fractional rejuvenation procedure. Pixel Perfect improves your skin’s texture and tone, minimizing the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, and uneven pigmentation.

What is fractional laser treatment?

The idea behind fractional skin treatments is use the laser to create thousands of microscopic perforations down through the epidermis into the dermis layer of the skin (the layer beneath the epidermis). This sounds extreme, but it’s not. Why? The skin around each perforation remains unaffected by the laser energy, so it immediately goes about healing the tiny holes adjacent to it. Although the perforations are microscopic, the body reacts as if it has been wounded, building new collagen to rebuild the skin of the area.

Safer than other treatments

At Northcoast Laser Cosmetics we use Alma Lasers for these treatments because they are the most advanced, safest, and most effective in the industry. Pixel Perfect delivers dramatic results without the risks involved with CO2 lasers or harsh chemical peels. Plus, the healing time is vastly decreased over procedures that produce similar results.

What skin issues can we treat with Pixel Perfect ?

  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Sun damage
  • Large pores
  • Acne scars
  • Uneven pigmentation

Results

With Pixel Perfect, your results are cumulative. The initial perforations help the skin rebuild immediately. But over time the increased collagen production will continue to improve your skin. In subsequent treatments, the results continue to build.

What happens after my treatment?

Immediately after your procedure, your skin will be red and feel as if its sunburned. There may be some slight swelling. All of this passes within three days. Over this same time, there will likely be some light peeling. Patients need to avoid sun exposure for the first few weeks.
