Sculpting The Perfect Eyebrows

Shaping The Brows

The easiest way to shape your brows is to have them waxed by a professional, but it is important to know how to maintain the correct shape in between appointments.

Determining which hairs to pluck is relatively easy. The inner sections of your eyebrows should align with your tear ducts pluck out any hairs that grow in between those spots. To determine how where the outer edge of your eyebrows should be, hold a pencil against your cheek at an angle so one end meets your nose. The place where the other end of the pencil intersects with the brow is where the eyebrow should end.

Northcoast Laser Cosmetics offers eyebrow waxing, which can give you professional looking results that last for quite a while. Start with just an eyebrow wax or schedule an appointment for other facial hair as well.

Shading The Brows

Shaping the brows is a good start, but to get fuller, defined looking brows, you’ll probably need to shade them in.

Start by brushing them straight up. This will make it easier to see where they should be filled in.

Next use a brush and powder to fill in your eyebrows. Use a shade that is as dark or slightly darker than your natural brows.

Follow this up by adding definition with an eyebrow pencil or pen. Last, set your eyebrows with a clear gel to lock everything into place.

While filling your eyebrows in each day can give you fuller, more defined eyebrows, it does mean you have to set aside quite a lot of time each day when you do your makeup. Instead of going to all this trouble every day, consider having your eyebrows tinted. This can be done on its own or in addition to eyelash tinting. If you’d like longer lasting results that leave you with darker, more defined eyebrows, contact Northcoast Laser Cosmetics to learn about eyebrow tinting.
